TYC Brothers and Sisters Regatta - 2012

TYC continues the annual tradition of a race around the North Bay to celebrate July 4th. Sail around the Brothers Lighthouse, across to the Sisters Islands off Marin and then back through the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge to Paradise Cay and then enjoy a BBQ at TYC. We welcome visitors to join us in this annual event.

When: Wednesday July 4th, 2012
One race – first warning at 1:00pm

Where: North San Francisco Bay / San Pablo Bay

Divisions: Div 1: PHRF 150 and less using a spinnaker;
Div 2: PHRF greater than 150 using a spinnaker
Div 3: Boats not using a spinnaker
(Other divisions may be declared depending on entries)

Courses: All divisions will sail the same course:
Start, TYC-P, Brothers – P, Sisters – P, Finish

Waiver and Assumption of Liability: The undersigned wishes to enter the above race series and agrees to abide by the Racing Rules Sailing and TYC Sailing Instructions (available on the club web site www.tyc.org or at the club). The undersigned further agrees to hold the TYC, its officers and all committees concerned blameless and free of liability of any nature whatsoever for any accident to him/herself, crew, boat or others. If the undersigned is found to be at fault by a final protest committee decision, or admits such fault in an accident involving damage to property or persons during the regatta, the undersigned agrees to pay any insurance deductible expense incurred by the other parties involved in the accident who are not at fault.

Sailing Instructions will be posted on the TYC web site (www.tyc.org) by June 30th, 2012

Entry Fee: $10

Please do NOT use the 'Other' option when paying for this regatta. The other option is for members of other yacht clubs who wish to charge the entry to their club account. TYC cannot accept payment in this form.
