Courses must belong to a Regatta. When logged in, with appropriate credentials, you can create a regatta from the Organization's page that you reached from the home page. Simply click the link that says "Create Regatta."
From there, you enter the Regatta's values: Name, race dates, organizer.
Enter a default wind direction and speed for general planning purposes. In SF Bay, we often start by assuming 240 true at 15 knots.
You can clone the complete set of courses from another regatta with the "Clone Courses" option.
After the regatta is created, you can return to this page to add race dates and classes.
Now you are ready to add and edit courses!
