2012 Berkeley YC Oktoberfest!

NOTICE OF RACE AND ENTRY FORM

OKTOBER 20

Berkeley Yacht Club invites all monohulls meeting Northern California PHRF minimum requirements and multihulls with a valid BAMA rating to participate in the 5th annual OKTOBERFEST CUP. Monohulls will be racing in a single pursuit race around Alcatraz. The first (slowest rated) boat will start at 1200. The start will be at Olympic Circle buoy “XOC”. Multihulls will be racing two buoy races in the San Francisco Bay. The Warning of the first race will be 1100 and the start will be at Olympic Circle buoy “FOC”. Note BYC is also running the YRA’s Yankee Cup using the start line at “FOC”. (Please see the NOR for authoritative info)

RULES

The regatta will be governed by the Racing Rules of Sailing, 2009-2012, the prescriptions of USSailing, the class rules of each respective one design class and the Sailing Instructions. Membership in a Yacht Club is not required. This event is designated as Advertising Category “A “.

CERTIFICATES

All yachts MUST have a current Northern California PHRF or BAMA certificate or submit a copy of an application.
